Frustratingly, there are old records from towns on the very edge of the recording area (Burgh Heath, Banstead, Chipstead, Kingswood), which may well actually refer to the CFBW area, of the following species: Grey Partridge, Waxwing, Hoopoe, Long-eared Owl, Snow Bunting, Cirl Bunting, Twite, Whimbrel, Curlew, Ringed Plover, Ring Ouzel and Red-backed and Great Grey Shrikes. Black Kite claim from summer 2008 awaiting acceptance by appropriate committees.
